Background

Over the past 15 years attitudes have changed towards environmental responsibility and the importance of recycling. This has placed new pressures on manufacturers, governments, businesses, and consumers to act and think more environmentally. We try to encourage businesses and indivuals to incorporate recycling into their current philosophy and adhere to the importance of being environmentally responsible on every aspect of our process.

The EU directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) requires recycling of electronic equipment at the end of its life. The European commission has been involved in considerable research to establish the best way of dealing with electronic waste. The problem of electronic waste will not go away, but will continue to grow as quantities and disposal costs increase.
